These stories will help you do better in essay, elocution, and drawing competitions and win attractive prizes.
Let’s start with our Seventh story:
Need For An Education Hub
Pimpri-Chinchwad, a rapidly developing city with nearly 3 million residents, has a growing demand for quality education. Despite its proximity to Mumbai and Pune, students often need to travel outside the state for fields like engineering and medicine. To address this, several educational projects are being developed under the leadership of Mahesh Dada.
Unique School: Santpith
The Jagadguru Sant Tukaram Maharaj Santpeeth, established in Talgoan Chikhali, offers a unique blend of modern education and spiritual heritage. Over 1,200 students are currently enrolled in this institute, which is the first of its kind in India.
Smart Education
The “Smart School” concept, utilizing digital technology and AI, has been implemented in various PCMC schools as part of the Smart City initiative. The first phase included 150 schools, with plans to expand to the remaining schools.
Premier Colleges
Moshi and Charholi are attracting prestigious colleges. COEP is constructing a campus on 50 acres. IIM Nagpur has opened a satellite campus at CIRT Bhosari, and the state has approved 70 acres of land in Moshi for a state-of-the-art campus.
Research & Innovation
The Pimpri Chinchwad Medical College and Research Center, along with a paramedical college, are being set up to address the city’s healthcare needs. A new observatory and a Community STEM-Tinkering Center (Kalpakghar) have opened, promoting science and innovation. The city is also lobbying for the establishment of a National Academy of Arts to promote the arts and culture. Proposed projects include an International Skill Development Center, a C-DAC center, and a Competitive Examination Guidance Center.
We hope you enjoyed that! Now, let’s dive deeper into the Education Hub projects. I encourage you to check out these news clippings, images, and videos for more information.
