Hello Friends,
My name is Indrajeet, and I am Indrayani. We are from your city, Pimpri Chinchwad. We met Vision Man, Mahesh Dada. Yes, you heard it right, just like Spider-Man and Super-Man, he has special powers. He can see the future and is very optimistic about New India. We wanted to share 11 stories of sustainable development happening in our city. These stories are based on the work of Vision Man – Mahesh Dada, who is building a future-ready city for all of us. These stories will help you do better in essay, elocution, and drawing competitions and win attractive prizes.
Let’s start with our Second story:
About Indrayani River
Once upon a time, there was a beautiful river named Indrayani. It flowed through the land of Pimpri-Chinchwad, connecting two special places: Dehu and Alandi. But the river was sad. It was dirty and sick.
How Did It Start?
A brave man named Mahesh Dada Landge decided to help the river. He wanted to make it clean and healthy again. So, he conceptualized a project called “Namami Indrayani.” The project was like a big puzzle. Many people worked together to fix the river. They cleaned up the banks, built walls to stop flooding, and put pipes in the ground to keep the water clean.
Benefit To Citizens
This project will help protect our sacred rivers from pollution, preserve biodiversity along the riverbanks, and provide citizens with a beautiful green riverfront. The river will start to feel better. The fish will come back, and the birds will start to sing. People will be able to enjoy walking and cycling along the riverbanks.
Awareness
Mahesh Dada and his friends also organized fun events like the “Indrayani Thadi Mahotsav” and the “Indrayani River Cyclothon” to spread awareness about the project. People from all over came to help and celebrate. The Namami Indrayani project is a great example of how we can work together to protect our environment and make our cities better places to live. Let’s all do our part to keep our rivers clean and healthy!
We hope you enjoyed that! Now, let’s dive deeper into the Namami Indrayani project. I encourage you to check out these news clippings, images, and videos for more information.
