Hello Friends,
My name is Indrajeet, and I am Indrayani. We are from your city, Pimpri Chinchwad. We met Vision Man, Mahesh Dada. Yes, you heard it right, just like Spider-Man and Super-Man, he has special powers. He can see the future and is very optimistic about New India.
We wanted to share 11 stories of sustainable development happening in our city. These stories are based on the work of Vision Man – Mahesh Dada, who is building a future-ready city for all of us. These stories will help you do better in essay, elocution, and drawing competitions and win attractive prizes.
Let’s start with our Fourth story:

Sports City Vision

Mahesh Dada had a big dream: to turn his city into a sports hub. He worked hard to make his dream a reality. He helped build many amazing international level sports facilities for Wrestling, Kabaddi, Skating, Rowing, Archery, Lawn tennis, Rifle & Pistol shooting.

Nurturing Local Talent

These facilities helped young people learn new skills and become great athletes. Some of them even joined famous sports leagues like Pro-Kabaddi!

What Comes Next?

Mahesh Dada didn’t stop there. He wanted Pimpri-Chinchwad to become a global sports hub. So, he planned to build even more amazing facilities, such as an international cricket stadium, a multi-facility sports complex, and a sports academy. Additionally, the redevelopment of the Anna Magar stadium is proposed, along with plans for a sports university and a sports club similar to the Deccan Gymkhana.

Ultimate Goal

With all these amazing sports facilities, Pimpri-Chinchwad is becoming a sports city. It’s a place where young people can learn, grow, and achieve their dreams. So, let’s all support our city’s sports heroes and cheer them on as they reach for the stars!

Special Mention - Bullock Cart Racing

Mahesh Dada successfully fought a case to revive bullock cart racing in Maharashtra. His friend and mentor, Devendra Sir, assisted him in this endeavor. Bullock cart racing is not just for entertainment; it’s linked to farmers’ traditions and culture. Our entire farmer community takes utmost care of animals during such races.
